
The "Collaborative Drawing Editor" allows everyone to edit uploaded 2D drawings, screenshots, photos of parts, PDFs, and other data using pen, highlighting, typing, and chat functions.
This blog will introduce the features implemented in the "Collaborative Drawing Editing" section.
Comment
Comments can be logged on the drawing, allowing discussion of sizes and manufacturing processes, as well as recording suggestions and changes.
In addition, by entering "@" and a name in the comment field (e.g., @Taro Takeda), the other party will be notified and information can be exchanged smoothly. This function enables efficient communication within the team.


pen
You can use the pen to write on the drawing. This can be used to edit or update size information or to draw a strike-through line.

text
Text can be typed on the drawings, and the changes discussed and sizes can be displayed on the drawings. In addition, the text can be downloaded without leaving the drawing.
*We recommend that you fill in the final information on the drawing when you download it.

blackout
It is possible to black out areas on the drawing that you wish to hide.

selection
Lines and text added to a drawing can be selected at once, moved, and deleted.

Panning (hand)
Hold down the left mouse button to move the drawing.
Unlike the *selection function, there is no function to move or delete lines or text added to the drawing.

shape
Shapes can be displayed by mouse operation and specific areas can be highlighted.

Arrows & Lines
Arrows and lines can be displayed by mouse operation, and can be used to coordinate detailed areas.

India rubber
It will be possible to erase features added to the drawing, such as text, arrows, and shapes. *Comments cannot be erased.

Download function
After co-editing the drawing using the aforementioned functions, the final version of the drawing can be downloaded in PDF, PNG, or SVG format.

The following functions will be added in the future
In addition, a video call feature will be added to allow real-time editing of drawings. A pointer function will also be implemented to facilitate communication during video calls. In addition, an electronic stamp function will be introduced to clarify agreement on edits, and implementation is underway to make the acceptance inspection process more concise.
